Open Farm 2026 Update: No Active Recalls, New Recipes Added
A quick status check on Open Farm freeze dried recipes — no active recalls, plus several new Homestead and Farmer's Table recipes have rolled out this year.
Several readers have asked about Open Farm recall status, so here's a quick update.
As of June 2026, there are no active recalls on any Open Farm freeze dried or raw recipes. The brand continues to publish full ingredient traceability for every batch on its website.
Open Farm has also expanded its Farmer's Table line this year with a new Pork recipe, which we've added to our price comparison. Pricing across Chewy, Amazon and Petco is fairly tight on Open Farm — typically within $2–3 of each other — so the biggest savings come from catching sales rather than switching retailers.
